How do I cancel my Trial Membership?
We understand that not every tool is the right fit for every job seeker’s journey. If you’ve decided that JobLeads Premium isn’t what you need right now, you can easily cancel your trial membership before it converts to a regular Premium subscription.
Important timing: You have 14 days from your sign-up date to cancel your trial. Check the contract confirmation file that was sent to your email when you subscribed for the exact renewal date and time in your time zone: This is your deadline. If you cancel after this time, the system will have already processed the automatic renewal to Premium Membership.
Step-by-step cancellation process
Step 1: Access your account settings
Navigate to your account settings by clicking on your profile icon in the top right corner of the JobLeads homepage. From the drop-down menu, select “Account settings.”
Step 2: Find your membership information
Scroll down to the “JobLeads membership” section in your account settings. This area contains all details about your current membership status and renewal dates.
Step 3: Initiate cancellation
Look for the sentence: “Please click here if you wish to discontinue using the Premium Membership benefits and cancel your membership.” Click on the red “here” link to begin the cancellation process.
Step 4: Complete the exit process
You’ll be directed to a brief exit questionnaire. After providing your feedback, click “Terminate membership” to finalize your cancellation and stop your subscription.
Step 5: Verify cancellation success
Return to your account settings and check the “JobLeads membership” section. Your renewal date should now reflect that your membership has been cancelled.
What happens next
Once cancelled, you can continue using all Premium features until your 14-day trial period ends. After that, your account will revert to Basic Membership, and you’ll only pay the trial fee. This process allows you to unsubscribe from Premium while keeping basic access to JobLeads.
Important reminder: trial conversion
Your trial will automatically convert to a Premium Membership if you don’t cancel before the deadline specified in your contract confirmation file. This file was sent to your email when you subscribed and contains the precise renewal date and time in your time zone – the system processes renewals automatically at this moment. If you prefer not to continue with a Premium Membership, we recommend canceling at least a few hours before your deadline to ensure the cancellation processes successfully before renewal.
