Why am I seeing a job with a wrong location?
At JobLeads, our primary objective is to ensure that our job seekers have access to the most up to date job opportunities in their respective fields. We continuously scan a broad range of sources, including thousands of job sites, company pages, and headhunter offerings. Our system diligently cross-references these with our job seekers' unique skills, experiences, and interests on a 24/7 basis. We analyze millions of job postings each day.
Our rigorous screening procedure incorporates a comprehensive analysis of the geographical locations for which companies are actively recruiting. Nevertheless, this aspect of our process can occasionally present challenges due to the prevalence of duplicate location names. This is particularly apparent in the US, where nearly 4,000 locations share their names with at least one other, and in some instances, up to thirty others! This duplication of place names introduces a degree of complexity into our location-matching process, requiring us to exercise additional diligence to ensure the accuracy of our job postings.
At JobLeads, our ongoing commitment is to continuously enhance and refine our operational processes in an effort to deliver the most accurate job postings. In the event that you encounter a job listing with an incorrect location, we kindly request that you bring this to our attention. To do so, please use the contact form located at the end of this article. Within the request menu, select the 'Jobs' category, followed by the 'Wrong location' option. By providing us with the job URL, you enable our team to pinpoint the problematic listing and rectify the location discrepancy quickly. Your assistance in maintaining the accuracy of our platform is greatly appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your valuable contribution.
