Why am I still receiving email notifications even if I cancelled my Premium Membership?
When you cancel your Premium Membership, your account is automatically downgraded to a free Basic Membership. This means you still have access to JobLeads, just with fewer features and benefits.
Here’s what’s happening with your email notifications.
You still have an active JobLeads account
As a Basic Member, you continue to receive the email notifications you’ve set up in your account. This includes job alerts, updates, and any other notifications you configured while you were a Premium Member.
Your notification settings don’t automatically turn off when you downgrade, they stay active based on your preferences. This way, you won’t miss potential opportunities that match your saved search criteria.
How to adjust your email notifications
If you’d like to reduce or turn off email notifications, you can customize your settings anytime:
Log in to your JobLeads account.
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and go to Account Settings.
Navigate to your notification settings and adjust which emails you want to receive by toggling specific options on or off. Blue toggles indicate notifications are on, while gray toggles indicate notifications are off.
Save your preferences.
You have complete control over what lands in your inbox. We recommend keeping job alerts active for roles that match your interests, because even a Basic Membership can help you stay connected to opportunities.
Want to stop all JobLeads emails?
If you prefer not to receive any communications from JobLeads, you can turn off all notifications in your account settings. However, keep in mind that this means you’ll miss job alerts and other updates that could be relevant to your career search.
Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you.
