What is the difference between cancelling my Premium Membership and deleting my account?
It’s essential to understand the distinction between these two actions: They affect your JobLeads experience in very different ways. Let’s break down what each option means for you and your data.
The short answer: Canceling your Premium Membership keeps your account active and your data safe, while deleting your account permanently removes everything.
Canceling your Premium Membership
When you cancel your Premium Membership, here’s what happens:
You keep full access until your subscription ends. Continue using all Premium features: personalized job matching, access to our 20,000+ headhunter network, MasterClasses, career guides, and everything else, right up until the end of your current billing period.
Your account stays active. After your subscription period ends, you’ll be downgraded to a free Basic Membership. Your account remains intact, and all your saved data is still there.
You have flexibility. As a Basic Member, you’ll have limited access to Premium features, but you can always upgrade again whenever you’re ready to take full control of your job search.
Important: Canceling your Premium Membership does not delete your account. These are separate actions. Your JobLeads account will continue to exist, and you can still access the platform with Basic features.

Deleting your account
Deleting your account is a completely different action with permanent consequences:
Everything is permanently removed. All your data – saved job searches, applications, personalized matches, and stored information –will be deleted from JobLeads.
This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you cannot reactivate it or recover any of your data.
You lose access immediately. Unlike canceling Premium, account deletion is final and irreversible.
If you’re a Premium Member who wants to delete your account
You’ll need to take these actions in order:
First: Cancel your Premium Membership.
Then: Delete your basic account.
These are two separate processes. You cannot delete your account while an active Premium Membership is in place.
