Why am I being charged after canceling my Premium Membership?
If you’re seeing charges from JobLeads even after canceling your Premium Membership, we understand your concern. Let’s get to the bottom of what’s happening.
The most common reason for a charge after cancellation is that the cancellation was processed after the renewal date for your current billing cycle.
How the billing cycle works
When you sign up for Premium Membership, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, which include a notice period for cancellation. This information is shared with you via email when you first enroll.
If you cancel after your billing cycle has already renewed, you’ll be charged for that current cycle. This is because automatic renewal is designed to ensure uninterrupted access to your Premium features – saving you from having to manually renew each time your membership period ends.
The good news: Once you’ve canceled, there will be no further auto-renewals. You won’t be charged for any future billing cycles, and your Premium access will end at the conclusion of the current billing period you’ve already paid for.
Check your renewal date
You can always see when your next renewal date is by checking your account:
Log in to your JobLeads account.
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select “My account.”
Scroll to the “JobLeads Membership” section to view your renewal date.
Knowing your renewal date helps you cancel before the next billing cycle begins if you no longer want to continue.
How to avoid future charges
To prevent being charged for the next billing cycle, make sure you cancel your membership before your renewal date and within the notice period specified in your Terms and Conditions and confirmation email.
